Follow a new customer’s journey

Open a link from a message or ad. Can you read the first headline without zooming? Is the offer clear? Make sure contact options are not buried below large images and the menu is easy to close.

Test the form in real conditions

Complete the form on a phone. Check field labels, keyboard types and error messages. With your team’s agreement, send a test inquiry and confirm receipt. A button that looks right does not prove delivery works.

Fix the biggest obstacles first

Remove unnecessary fields, make text readable and keep the layout stable. Prepare images for their display size. Repeat the same task at several screen widths. Fix barriers to contact before decorative details.

Test a slower arrival on the page

Do not rely only on a phone connected to fast home internet. Simulate a slower connection in the browser and check whether the important text appears first. Visitors should be able to read the offer while less important assets load, and the main layout should stay stable. Also check third-party content loaded when the form opens. Record the test conditions alongside the result.

Try getting in touch with one hand

Open the menu, return to the service and tap the contact button. Check that nearby links are easy to distinguish and the keyboard does not hide the submit action. If you enter an invalid email, the explanation should help you correct it without losing the rest of the message. Closing a dialog should return focus to a logical place. Usability matters more than resembling the desktop layout.

APPLY IT TO YOUR BUSINESS

The most useful mobile test is a real task: find the service, understand the next step and successfully get in touch.
